My husband and I worked with Jennifer for our wedding in August. We are both so pleased with the professional, timely, fun work she has produced for us and our family. We knew that we wanted someone professional, yet laid back and fun for our engagement and wedding photographer. What we did not expect was the quality of service Jennifer O'Malia provided us on our BIG DAY and every day leading up to it. We had our first meeting in a little coffee shop in New London and as we sat there with our hot chocolates and talked about not only our vision for our wedding, but her background, family, and interests; we felt as if this was not a business meeting, but a get together with a kind friend. She makes you feel completely at ease and comfortable from the very first time you meet. For our engagement photos, she was so knowledgable of the best areas for the perfect photos. As most photographers do, she positioned us in many "posed" pictures, but her specialty and what makes her unique, is her love of taking that candid photo of two people in love just enjoying each other in their natural "playful" way. About a week before our wedding, I sent Jenn a shot list of all the photos that were most important to me that she get on the big day. Well, the big day arrived, and so did the rain. Tons of it. She knew exactly what to do. She helped escort family and bridal party off the golf course and onto the covered patio near the reception area. She ended up getting so many more shots than on my original list, because everyone was all together, just making the best of the situation. She got the most amazing photos of the rain falling onto the gardens behind my husband and I (very romantic). The rain stopped and she quickly took us back onto the grounds and even ruined her shoes in the mud to get the very artistic shots. She was on the dance floor making sure to capture the fun our guests were having. By the end of the night, everyone was raving about her and even our venue has decided to add her to their "preferred vendors" list. Not only did we gain a great photographer as a reference for future family photos, but a friend as well. Thank you Jenn so much for all you did to make our day so special.

Jennifer was our photographer for our wedding in May 2016. From our first meeting with her we felt at ease as she has an amazing, engaging personality. The day of, she had everything under control and guided us kindly through the photography process. Our family and friends commented on how comfortable she made them feel. Most of the time we did not know she was there, which speaks volumes of her remarkable talent of blending in the crowd and doing her job without being obtrusive. She promptly worked on the photographs and was super fast on giving us our sneak peek! We are beyond happy with her work, we loved the photographs she took. Moreover, she went above all expectations and delivered a lovely, delicately decorated package with our album, a drive with our digital copies, and a surprise DVD/video with our pictures set to the music played at our ceremony and reception. Jenn is an amazing photographer! We used her for our wedding in October and she was the easiest person to work with! I loved that she followed my Pinterest board of all the shots I wanted her to take at my wedding. She came to my wedding knowing exactly what I wanted! I could not have been happier with what she did! She was super enthusiastic which made me feel great :) I also loved the package she gavr is with our edited photos in a book and on a flash drive. She even surprised us with a beautiful slideshow of our wedding day set to an amazing soundtrack! Love love love Jenn's work and cannot recommend her enough!
